The Bible makes a very radical idea inescapable: not only is the gospel the interpretive norm for the whole Bible, but there is an important sense in which Jesus Christ is the mediator of the meaning of everything that exists. In other words, the gospel is the hermeneutical norm for the whole of reality.

Now that piques my interest as well...okay, I've never used the word "pique" before; however, when one leaves a comment one must check spelling and grammar, at least this neurotic one. Surprisingly, neither "peeks" nor "peaks" was deemed appropriate by staunchy grammarians. Instead, they stand by the age-old "piques." So, thanks, Matt, not only did I learn of a new potential vp, but I also learned a new word. :)Hope you and your lovely family are doing well.
